Dr. Theresa Y. Wee, M.D.

Pediatrics

Dr. Wee is a pediatric obesity health and wellness expert, and she has been in practice for more than 30 years.

Dr. Wee is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and John Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, HI. She completed her pediatrics residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital at Ohio State University, and an Ambulatory Fellowship at Columbus Children’s Hospital.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Dr. Wee has a strong commitment to serving the people of Central and West Oahu. She is a strong member of the community, serving the Waipio Gentry area as a medical advisor for pre-schools, elementary schools, and high schools.

In her spare time, Dr. Wee enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, volunteering for various charitable organizations, such as Walk with a Doc Oahu, and writing.

Dr. Jordan Arakawa, M.D.

Pediatrics

Dr. Arakawa is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics residency training at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Born and raised in Waipio Gentry, HI, Dr. Arakawa has a strong commitment to serving the people of Central and West Oahu. He is also a part of Dr. Theresa Wee’s Pediatric Obesity Workshops and has a specific interest in adolescent medicine.

In his spare time, Dr. Arakawa enjoys being active, playing sports, and most of all, surfing.

Myrtle Parel, APRN

Pediatrics

We are very pleased to announce our newest addition to our practice.

Help us in welcoming, Myrtle!

Myrtle graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu. After several years as a registered nurse, she decided to further her education and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Regis College. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in primary care.

She started working in the pediatric setting as a medical assistant and worked her way up to a registered nurse, and now an advanced practice registered nurse.

Myrtle was born and raised in Hawaii and grew up in Central Oahu. She enjoys working with children and watching them grow from an infant to a young adult.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going out on excursions, and practicing self-care.
